About Dr. Kim Bartels
I am a woman with a strong professional identity...
- I understand what it feels like to be underemployed, overlooked for promotion, and frustrated.
- I care deeply about my clients and their ability to feel fulfilled and respected in their work.
- I strongly believe that we need a lot more diversity in leadership at all levels.
- I want to support leaders who can represent and serve the needs of members of the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities, in work settings that are psychologically safe, where all employees feel seen, heard, and empowered.
It also seems abundantly clear to me that the world needs more female, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ leaders who are committed to serving others in an open, receptive, and respectful manner. We know from the research that having more diverse professionals on boards and in top leadership positions improves organizational performance, return on investment (ROI), and how engaged you and your fellow employees feel.
If you are in the minority of people in leadership positions, we need you! Please stay and continue to believe in and be your awesome self.
